1959
  • Feb. 27th: The First Spiritual Leader, Mr. Yoshikazu Okada, received a Revelation and started propagation in Tokyo, Japan.
  • Aug. 28th: The First Spiritual Leader established a private corporation, “L.H. Yokoshi”.
1963
  • Nov. 19th: Private Corporation, “L.H. Yokoshi” was registered as a Religious Corporation by the name "World Divine Light Organization."
1968
  • Temporary Main Shrine built in Tokyo
    Feb. 4th: Temporary Main Shrine was constructed in Den-En-Chofu, Tokyo, Japan.
1974
  • Jun. 13th: The First Spiritual Leader received a Revelation on the successor for His Role and nominated Mr. Sakae Sekiguchi as the Second Spiritual Leader.
  • Jun. 23rd: The Second Spiritual Leader passed away. Following a Divine Revelation, Mr. Sakae Sekiguchi became the Second Spiritual Leader.
1975
  • Jan. 11th: Mr. Sakae Sekiguchi, the Second Spiritual Leader, received the Holy Name, Seiho from God.
1982
  • Feb. 10th: World Divine Light Organization purchased about 490.ooo acres of land to build its Sanctuary in Izu City, Shizuoka, Japan.
1983
  • Miroku Shrine
    Dec. 11th & 18th: Miroku Shrine Construction Completion Ceremony
1987
  • Inauguration Ceremony of World Main Shrine, Suza
    Aug. 23rd: Construction Completion and Relocation Ceremony of “Su-za”, World Main Shrine.
1988
  • Aug. 30th: World Divine Light Organization received Non-Profit Religious Organization Authorization in the U.S.
1989
  • Apr. 2nd: Yoko College was inaugurated.
1990
  • Dec. Language Learning Students Program began.
1994
  • Jan. 3rd: The Second Spiritual Leader passed away. Following a Revelation, Mr. Katsutoshi Sekiguchi became the Third Spiritual Leader.
  • Jan. 6th: At 5:00 AM Third Holy Master was informed by a divine spirit that he was to take the holy name of "Seisho."
1996
  • Apr. 18th: World Divine Light Organization obtained the Religious Organization Authorization in Taiwan.
1999
  • The 40th Grand Anniversary Festival
    Aug. 1st: The 40th Grand Anniversary Festival was held in the Front Garden of SUZA.
2004
  • The 45th Grand Anniversary Festival
    Aug. 1st: The 45th Grand Anniversary Festival was held in the Front Garden of SUZA.
2009
  • The 50th Grand Anniversary Festival
    Aug. 2nd: The 50th Grand Anniversary Festival was held in the Front Garden of SUZA as the milestone to start expanding globally.
2014
  • Aug. 3rd: The 55th Grand Anniversary Festival was held. The ceremony was broadcasted to local branches and attendees realized a harmonization together surpassing the geographical barrier.
